About Tyler Wright

Hello! My name is Tyler. I have been working in and with the Philadelphia film community for the past 2 years. While mainly I have worked at Videosmith Rentals in Philadelphia I have also been freelancing on my own time as a camera owner/operator. Having worked as a rental technician has given me the chance to work with most any piece of camera/sound/lighting/grip gear you will find on set. If anyone needs to know most anything technical in on set production to how it impacts post production I can help you get what you need taken care of. I also work with clients to get them the gear they need to successfully get their shoots done. I troubleshoot with clients when they have questions about gear, whether it be something I gave them or if its their own gear. In person or over the phone I'm here to help and set up rentals In my free time and through Videosmith I do freelance production on sets. I own my own C300 and Sony FS700/Odyssey 7Q Combo kit. While I prefer camera/assistant camera work, I will help set up grip/lighting/teleprompter/switcher/sound work as well. Having worked at Videosmith has given me the chance to work with a tremendous amount of equipment and people from various backgrounds and experiences. I appreciate it all and look forward to working in the industry in the future.
