Background

About Tyler Young

A highly organized individual with 10+ years of experience in the tech industry - 4+ years of experience managing technical programs and projects and 6+ years as a software developer. Experienced with agile, scrum, and waterfall methodologies and specialized in optimizing cross-functional communication and collaboration with people of all backgrounds and experience levels, creating processes and solutions specifically tailored for each team. I have led development teams to bring over 20 titles and IPs to market using East Side Games' IdleKit framework, such as RuPaul's Drag Race: Superstar, Star Trek Lower Decks: The Badgey Directive, The Office: Somehow We Manage, and AEW: Rise to the Top. I worked with each development team individually to support and evangelize best practices for game development, ensuring smooth development cycles from pre-production to live-ops. I have also led product development for game features, such as the player-owned account and cross-play functionality for Lucky VR's game Vegas Infinite by PokerStars. I help design features from both a technical and functional perspective, ensuring product features are feasible and scalable given the current architecture. I take a holistic approach to all the problems I encounter, ensuring the solutions I derive also take perspectives of all the other teams and stakeholders involved.
