Ty loves new and exciting solutions and the natural world. His passion for people, agriculture, environmental sciences, and geospatial information systems inspired him to develop new methodologies for predictive climate and soils modeling. He helps encourage and interact between DOD leadership, civil engineers, environmental scientists, and GIS specialists to produce critical geospatial technology for continued mission success. Ty's background as a military analyst trained him to spot connections between pieces of information which helped provide predictive analysis for senior level decision makers. He specialized in troop movements, Russian and European air land and sea military equipment, and briefing in tense and stressful situations. He revolutionized gathering, displaying and disseminating pre-flight briefings. He once prevented a multi-billion dollar aircraft with international diplomats and dignitaries from flying over contested airspace by providing intelligence about a large unidentified troop-surge in the planned flight path. Ty upholds values that transform his interactions with positivity and he causes people to thinking deeply, while maintaining a of feeling appreciation and usefulness. He simply seeks good things and searches for cultures that align with his principals. Ty loves spending time with his wife, friends and dogs. He is intent in helping others. He is also very passionate about the outdoors. He loves hunting, fishing, backpacking, skiing, cycling, discipleship, fellowship, teaching, and learning.
