Hi! My name is Tyra Powell and for as long as I can remember I've been chronically online. I have a huge passion in beauty, pop culture, and social media. I graduated from Temple University in August 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism. I specialize in Social Media Strategy and Content Creation. Most recently I was a social strategist and content creator at Mustache Inc, a creative agency under DJE Holdings Company. My employers and coworkers would say I work hard, I'm passionate, and I'm a strategic-creative. During my time at Mustache I was able to bring a life-long hobby in makeup artistry, and my social strategy skills to help my client, MAC Cosmetics US, regain cultural relevance with Gen Z. I blended my quick trendmining skills (thanks to my 5 burner accounts), and content creation skills to the channel to create top performing content on both TikTok and Instagram. I also got to flex and sharpen my social strategy skills in creating brand campaigns for MAC US, Google Search, Google Pixel, Google Maps, Google Trends, and Google Arts & Culture. I am on the pulse of what's hot in culture, in beauty, and in the marketing world, and I know I will bring all that with a lot of personality, to my next opportunity.
