About Tyrel Carter

Hi, Nice to meet you. My name is Tyrel and now with 10 years of operations and healthcare leadership experience I am ready to find the next chapter in my career journey. After obtaining my MBA/MHA from the University of Missouri I did a 1 year Administrative Fellowship there as well which was a great learning and doing opportunity. My wife and I decided it was time to move closer to home so I took a job with St. Luke's Heath Care as a Continuous Improvement Coach where I became a leader in Lean and Six Sigma principles and I loved helping teams understand and apply the principles we coached them in. After doing Lean for a few years I took a management position in Yakima, WA as a clinic manager of a large primary care clinic. My family and I wanted to get back home to Idaho and so we came back to lead 2 primary care clinics for St. Luke's in Twin Falls. A few years after that I was approached by the owner of Body Balance Physical Therapy to come and help grow his business. After 2 years of working there and seeing it grow and hit record numbers and helping cultivate a strong team culture I have decided to move onto something new. I am open to staying in healthcare or taking my Operations, Lean, Leadership, and People Skills to a another industry. I love my family and living in the Twin Falls, Idaho area and excited to see what my next in my career will be! I look forward to connecting! Areas that interest me are Management and Operations but since I am still relatively early on in my career I am open to learning new skills and consider myself a fast learner. Specialties: I feel that I excel in dealing with people and problems which has helped me become a Lean professional and manager. Leadership and organization are two other things that I enjoy and feel they have helped me get to this point in my life.
