It's that phase between I have a plan and I have no plan" Its not that we're indecisive its just that we're human. I live by the motto of "Improvise, Adapt, Overcome", is it cliché? Well yes, if you don't practice it. Greetings, My name is Dimitri and here is my story. I always made sure to surround myself with people from diverse backgrounds of race religion and personalities. Leaders, followers and rebels. It taught me 2 things, Respect and Humility. Humility sometimes gets lost to ego and nothing like a reality to check to fall in line. I was introduced to the concept of leadership at a very young age, as a vice captain of an underfunded school taekwondo team, through teamwork, dedication and sacrifice we succeeded in our mission to provide funding and equipment so that the future of this sport and the team was more secure than what it was. That paved the way for skills such as public speaking, organizational skills, project and operations management. This was all made possible by the gifted and talented individuals of the Prefect Body of St. Peter's who were my harshest critics and biggest motivators. I have a few role models, in my life but one that continued to teach me were my parents who provided me with a life beyond expectations and the opportunity to study overseas which led me to the practice of self-development and upskilling. While at University, I made sure to associate and learn different cultures which not let me change the way I think but what I think about. I was blessed with ample opportunities to volunteer for many charities and NGOs, I organized many events and improved upon my concept of leadership due to various titles I held in clubs and associations.
