Strong leadership, vision, communication, and influencing skills built on tax compliance education, conducting examinations/tax audits, learning the IRS data landscape as an IRS Research social scientist and a current IRS Data & Analytics Data Council voting member for SB/SE, applying IT project management expertise, driving business process improvements, and achieving success as product owner of the first IRS business online account. Experience working on major programs segments and applying appropriate operations, policies, applicable laws, regulations, rules, practices, procedures, and techniques sufficient to provide oversight/direction. Continuing to pursue self-development as evidence by completing the Adaptive Strategic Execution Program Certificate in 2024 from Korn Ferry Digital / Duke University Fuqua School of Business and Strategy Execution which has helped me master the three domains that influence and define how work gets done: strategy, work and people. I have 9+ years of experience with enterprise-level IT digital foundation projects and initiatives impacting tax compliance and business operations. As a Technical Project Manager, I earned the IRS Commissioner’s Award in 2015 as part of the IRS Compliance Capabilities Vision Team in the Commissioner’s Office of Compliance Analytics (OCA). We identified innovative ways to improve voluntary compliance, strengthen tax administration, and transform the agency’s compliance activities focusing our efforts on the most cost effective and least burdensome approaches to moving IRS into the future. During my OCA tour, I also served as the lead for the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) project that became effective in 2014.
