About Tyrone Ramsey

I am beginning my transition from the U.S. Army where I currently serve as a Company Operations Supervisor. In my next chapter I desire to pursue a career in the film/entertainment industry as an actor. I have served for close to 2 decades in the U.S. Army with half of that time within the Special Operations community as a Green Beret. Throughout my career I have strived to perform to the best of my ability and have led others to do the same. I seek to treat others the way I want to be treated, and I value relationships with people more than accolades or positions. The experiences I have gained through my career translate well into that of a successful actor. These include public speaking, effective communication, multitasking, time management, and interpersonal skills. My career in the military has afforded me numerous opportunities to use and refine these skills and I plan to continue developing these skills as I step into a new career field. Currently I am attending classes with the Freehold Theatre in Seattle, WA as I pursue continued work towards the craft of acting. I have received mentorship from a working play director in script development and understanding of given circumstances in relation to a script. I am a highly motivated individual who seeks to achieve personal success in my desired career transition. I understand the importance of community and wellbeing. I advocate for personal holistic health through spiritual, emotional, physical and mental wellness. When I am not working out with my friends, I can be found enjoying life through many activities with my wife.
