My secret to achieving years of consistent “hit the ball out of the park” success in revenue, sales, and profitability, I hit the floor every morning with the daily discipline, work ethic and competitive drive that has led to winning, day after day, year after year. I live by a very strong moral code: I work hard, professionally, am dependable and honest, and show up 100%. I am very logical and put my full effort into projects. If I do not know something I will quickly learn. I’ve excelled in business development, sales, marketing, territory, and account management. I grew from developing territories on my own to managing up to 134 client accounts representing ~$45M in annual sales revenue, and leading high performing sales teams. I’m driven to win by the values instilled in me by my parents. I’ve been highly competitive my entire life, actively involved in team sports since I was a kid. It’s a lot more fun to win as a team than on your own. I set objectives, develop a plan, and coach my team to win. I don’t micromanage; I leverage the individual’s motivation to succeed by removing obstacles and providing best practices and support. They trust me. Here’s a few wins I’m proud of- Winner of the President Cup in 2020 and selling at top performer level for 2021 & 2022 seasons- Selected as one of the sixteen Trade Marketing Account Representatives from across Canada to represent their district and present to the entire Senior Canadian Leadership team in the first-ever All-Star Challenge- Piloted a test project that switched using a third-party wholesaler to dealer direct, resulting in an improved direct to stores sales model. I covered two sales territories and was able to get 100% of the accounts certified- Negotiated a merchandising agreement with the Express 24 Chain after a ten-year absence in the organization, resulting in selection as one of three keynote speakers for a corporate regional meeting. On a personal level, growing up in Red Deer has given me a love for the outdoors and the opportunity to enjoy what Alberta has to offer.
