About Tyson Gallop

I am a recent college graduate with a Master of Information Systems (MIS) with a Graduate Cyber Security Certificate with additional career experience as a technician for solving complex technical challenges. I also have a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Technology and have worked a variety of roles in business and the U.S. Navy. From 2010 the present, I have been a Communications Technician for Comcast. As a CT3, I have served on a special team that is a sort of “SWAT Team” for the most difficult troubleshooting challenges facing Comcast’s customers. On this team, I have earned a reputation as a hardworking and dependable go-to problem solver, a solid team player, and a fast learner. Earlier in my career, I was a military petty officer stationed on a warship in the Persian Gulf. My passion for defending my country has translated into my professional interest today in helping organizations to defend themselves against cyber threats. When I’m not solving challenges with information technology or telecommunications, I enjoy riding dirt bikes, skiing, video games, and home beer brewing.
