About Tyson Pye

After graduating college I played some semi-pro basketball while working for Glenn Mills School in the Philadelphia, Pa area. When I left that area in 2001 I moved to Mansfield, Pa where I was the second assistant mens basketball coach at Mansfield university, while working for Tioga County Department of Human Services and S.T.A.R (students transition and recovery) where I was a drill instructor for troubled youth. I left the Pennsylvania area in 2005 and moved back to Tennessee where I continued working with troubled youth and then started working with young adults with mental disability helping them to live independently through my employment with Lighthouse. In 2007 I moved to Rochester, Ny and started working for Enterprise Rental a Car where I moved up into management within my first 10 months, making it all the way to Branch Manager and ending my 5 1/2 year career there as an Account Executive in the Car Sales division. Currently I am the Athletic Director at Destiny Christian School as well as the PE teacher and JV boys basketball coach along with coaching other sports at the school. We are already Section V sanctioned and my goal is to make us competitive in all sports that we offer in our region as well as New York state.
