About Tyson Reed

For the past 9 years to present, I’ve been working at the media meta-data giant Gracenote. I started as a temp and worked my way up, directly talking with providers like Paramount, Sony, Universal, Gravitas Venues, Asylum, Magnolia, Lions Gate, and many more movie distributors who provide their movie artwork for our database. I also led the Gracefit team which was our wellness program providing wellness events like running, hiking, kayaking, yoga, and mental health. I sought out and created events to try to improve employee morale with the company and learned how to be a leader. Before that in 2013 I was working at Morris Products in Queensbury, helping them build their 2014 catalog. This includes creating the catalog cover, its respective lead in pages for each product line, and master page layouts. Detailed photo editing is also involved along with photography. I’ve also created product labels. I have intense knowledge of Adobe products Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator as well as some knowledge of CSS and HTML. I have flexibility when working cross platform in Mac and PC environments. Previous employment has helped me develop skills needed to be able to work in a high-production work environment, as well as enforcing excellent communication and customer service skills. Abilities that are key include problem solving, attention to detail, and continuing to find ways to be more efficient at my job.
