About Tyson Ruhle

Born in Washington state but raised in Anchorage, AK. I graduated high school in 1997 and after working for a couple years I made my attempt at college. I attended DeVry University in Phoenix, AZ and was about half way towards a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology before realizing the Army was probably a better fit for me. I joined in November 2001 as a CH-47 helicopter repairer. I was stationed at Hunter AAF in Savannah, GA from 2002 until May 2010. While in Savannah I married my wife Sarah in 2004. We then had a daughter born in 2005 and another in 2008. During that time I was sent on three deployments to Iraq and one to Afghanistan. I graduated from Warrant Officer Candidate School in June 2010. I then completed flight training in the TH-67 and CH-47F, graduating in January 2012. As an aviator I was stationed in Katterbach, Germany during this time I deployed to Afghanistan two more times. We were then stationed in Fort Riley, KS from 2017 until 2020 during which I was sent back to Europe in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. Since 2020 my family and I have been stationed at Fort Novosel (formerly Fort Rucker) and plan on retiring early 2024.
