About Uday Devasar

Uday is a Certified Anti Money Laundering Investigator, working as a Senior Analyst at KPMG Global Services, working with the Managed Services team under Risk Consulting & Advisory in the Gurugram office. He has successfully worked on hundreds of cases across several industries such as F&B, Venture Capital Funds, SMEs, Agriculture, NBFIs, Private Equity, Retail and Commercial, IT, FMCG, etc. for banks in the United Kingdom and United States, to help aid money laundering and identify illicit funds for terrorist financing. He has often led several engagements for the firm, displaying leadership and collaborative problem-solver skills. At his time at the firm, he has been awarded with 11 awards under several categories. He has completed the Power BI Course along with the Lean Six Sigma, White, Yellow and Green Belt certifications, with successfully transferring the theoretical knowledge into the practical aspect and implementing a Kaizen project which helped save the firm, several hours and costs! He holds a Bachelors in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a minor in Marketing, graduating in the First Division with Distinction. He has always been a very focused and career oriented individual, starting off young and gaining an equivalent of over 3 years of internship and part-time experience, before even graduating. He strongly believes in the Law of Attraction, doing good without expecting anything in return, treating all with kindness and most importantly—being a good human being. He spends his free time watching and playing sports, watching educative and formative podcasts or squeezing in a game or two of FIFA!
