Missed deadlines, scattered teams, unclear updates, and frustrated customers — I’ve seen it all. In the world of home interiors and retail fit-outs, everything looks perfect on paper — until the installation begins. Having worked in facility and administration, and managed high-performing showrooms across India for over two decades, I’ve witnessed firsthand how broken and chaotic last-mile installation systems can be. That experience made one thing very clear: the installation process is a major gap that no one is truly addressing. With that insight — and the right systems and support in place — I co-founded Install365 along with my partners, Lokesh and Sunil, with a mission to bring reliability, ownership, and structure to installations. My journey wasn’t an obvious one. Coming from a middle-class background, I was raised in an environment where risks were calculated and backup plans were a luxury. I spent over 22 years across just three organizations, but always working with the mindset of an owner. I was fortunate to have a few key mentors who saw more in me than I saw in myself. They believed I wasn’t just employee material, but I was meant to build something of my own. Among those who played a transformative role in my career, Srikanth Iyer Sir at HomeLane stands out. Under his direct mentorship, I experienced tremendous growth — from receiving the company’s first-ever award to opening multiple franchise showrooms and building top-performing installation teams. Even today, I continue to receive regular mentoring from him. Those years truly laid the foundation for Install365.
