About Udayan Baijal

As a seasoned Producer with a career spanning international films, premium series, and high-impact documentaries, I bring a sharp focus on production strategy, executional efficiency, and solution-driven leadership to every project. At Netflix India, I currently lead Production Management for Series and oversee the production strategy and delivery of original series, enabling ambitious storytelling through streamlined, scalable production systems. My commitment to production excellence has been shaped by over a decade of global filmmaking experience—on titles such as Tenet, Zero Dark Thirty, The Dark Knight Rises, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, and The Reluctant Fundamentalist. I’ve also contributed in post-production, notably as VFX Assistant Director on Life of Pi and Assistant Editor on Slumdog Millionaire. As Co-founder of Jamun, a Delhi-based production company, I built and led creative teams that delivered compelling, quality-driven content—blending international standards with local storytelling. I hold a BA in History from St. Stephen’s College and a Master’s in Mass Communication & Filmmaking from Jamia Millia Islamia, where I’m recognized as a distinguished alumnus. A recipient of the INLAKS Scholarship, I trained in digital distribution and post-production with top filmmakers in New York and London—fueling my ongoing interest in innovative approaches to content marketing and global distribution. I thrive on building robust production ecosystems that enable creative teams to do their best work.
