About Udit Vij

My name is Udit Vij. I graduated with a Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering from University of Toronto, Canada, Focus of my studies being on Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems and New Product Development. Currently I am working as a Space and Lab Coordinator in the Centre for Entrepreneurship. I am helping startups in creating prototypes for their ventures using equipment such as 3D Printer, Laser Cutter, 3D Scanner, Vacuum Former, Cricut Maker Machine. Alongside, I am also responsible for managing the administrative aspect of co-working space offered by Centre for Entrepreneurship. My general interests lie in the field of Remotely Piloted Aircraft System. Being actively involved in the Aeromodelling space for over 4 years has contributed to nurturing my interest in this domain. As for work experience, I worked as a UAV Design Engineer for Skytex Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for a year before starting my Master's at U of T. I was mainly responsible for the Design and Performance Analysis of Fixed-Wing and Multirotor UAVs, along with this, I was also the Chief Test Pilot for testing out the newly built Multirotor UAVs. I was working as a E-Commerce Operations Lead Department Manager at Walmart from April 2024 to February 2025, handling a team of 100 - 110 people to optimize the operations of the E-Commerce Department and drive sales and growth. Since I had joined the Department, We had Tripled the Average Number of Orders which we used to cater to and were looking to grow further. In My Time in Walmart, I have received four Promotion Based Incentives and Shinning Star of the Month - April 2023 Awards. Outside Work, I love watching and playing Sports, especially Soccer.
