To make MacOS an integrated part of an enterprise-style environment, a true alternative to Windows in all respects when it comes to perceived and real security, AD-Integration and access to resources on Windows servers. And have fun doing it. I´ve been using Macs personally and professionally since the late 80-ies, 6.07 was the first version of MacOS I had experience with. I made the trip from over PPC to Intel, from System 6 to 11. Quite a journey… I´ve used Macs for music, graphics and design, for all my work and play. I have worked professionally with Macs since ´92 as a consultant and supporter, and have used At Ease, Macintosh Manager, Profile Manager and the Apple Server versions that went with them for management and control. I´ve supported graphic and music workstations, and hundreds of student machines. I have experience with MCX and AD, Open Directory, and have deployed Macs with netboot and images since ´98. I´ve been working with Deploy Studio the last 15 years, after having used Bombich´ Netrestore. Now moving to DEP and JAMF. I have been integrating Macs into large AD´s since 2004, and have a good working understanding of Active Directory and Windows. For the last 22 years I´ve been working at The University of Southern Denmark, one of the few in Denmark in Higher Education to have had nothing but Mac as my responsibility. The users are Scientists, Teachers and Students, and we have a lot of specialized software and Macs in our laboratories. On top of that we have several units that work with graphics and video, with genetics, neurology physiology and immunology. A very varied and demanding environment. Privately I use Macs to record and compose music, pictures, surfing, movies…. As a consultant I try to make sure that the endusers get the right solution, one they are comfortable with. Since I have a very broad background from my work and education, I´m usually able to understand and define their goals and needs. Specialties: Integration of Mac OS X in AD-Based infrastructures, Mac deployment and development, High level Mac Support and development.
