About Ugochukwu Eze

With over Fifteen years of experience in product management and product ownership in the financial services industry, I am passionate about creating and delivering innovative and customer-centric solutions that meet business needs and enhance user experience. As a Director/Product Manager at PayU, a leading online payment service provider, I manage the conceptualization and development of products using agile methodology, working closely with the technical team and various stakeholders across the globe. Some of my notable achievements include the implementation of Naira payment method on Facebook in Nigeria, which has processed over $1.4B transactions; identification and management of new products, Multichannel collection API, which has processed over $950M transactions; and the setup of acquiring business with KCB and Equity in Kenya using MiGS/MPGS. I also have a strong background in risk management, merchant acquiring, and business development, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) credential. I am always eager to learn new skills, explore new opportunities, and collaborate with diverse teams to deliver value and impact in the e-commerce and payments space.
