About Ujjaval Agarwal

I am currently working as an Executive Director at Little Angels School. I also work as a Freelance General Insurance Actuary performing Contractual Roles in Actuarial Field. Overall, I have General Insurance Actuarial experience of close to 8.5 years. My last full-time Actuarial role was with Prudential Health Insurance, before which I worked with SBI General Insurance for over 3 years. These roles included working under the IRDAI Guidelines assisting in Pricing of Health Products, Reserving for Personal and Commercial Lines, Regulatory Submission, Actuarial Reports, providing Actuarial support to other departments. I have also worked for over 4 Years in the Non-Life Sector for overseas businesses. I have been involved in Reserving exercise for Clients based in U.K, Middle East and other countries. I have performed modelling on ResQ, helped in IFRS17 analysis and initial implementation. I was part of the team that presented the Statutory Actuarial Opinion for one of the Lloyds Syndicate. Apart from reserving, I have worked on Run-off work that involves valuation of APH claims based in US. I have also been involved in Ogden analysis. Apart from work, I am passionate about Fitness and a regular runner, taking part in a long distance running like half-marathons. I also play a few instruments in my spare time.
