Committed to learning the endless possibilities that technology offers to solve real-world problems, I recently pursued a Master’s degree in Information Technology & Management, with a focus on Cloud Computing. Over the years, my journey through the tech landscape has been one of continuous learning, experimentation, and growth. My first role in professional world began at RealPage, where I took on the role of a Product Support Agent Tier I. What started as a role focused on working with clients, troubleshooting, and managing support tickets, quickly evolved into dynamic work between teams. I found myself on the Tier II team within the first 9 months of working, drawn to the challenges of troubleshooting our client's experiences and managing work between teams. As I worked through cases—prioritizing tickets, leading cross-team initiatives, and refining our knowledge base—I began to see the bigger picture. I wasn’t just solving technical issues; I was building systems that improved efficiency, reduced onboarding times, and ensured that our clients received top-tier support. One of the most defining moments in my professional career was when I had the opportunity to shadow a Cloud Solutions Architect. This experience opened my eyes to the intricacies of cloud environment architecture, the power of Terraform for infrastructure as code, and the elegance of CI/CD pipelines. I wasn’t just observing, but absorbing so much. Every project I’ve tackled since has been infused with the insights I gained during those months. Whether it was deploying a cloud-based resume website with AWS or developing PowerShell scripts for Microsoft 365 user management, I approached each task with a deeper understanding and a heightened sense of purpose. My journey has also led me to explore the realms of cybersecurity and AI/Machine Learning—fields that, much like cloud computing, hold the promise of transforming the future. I’ve taken the initiative to earn certifications in AWS Cloud Practitioner and Cybersecurity Fundamentals, with an AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification currently in progress. Soon AWS will be offering an AWS Certified AI Practitioner certification, which I plan to pursue as well. Each step forward in these areas feels like a new chapter in my story, bringing me closer to the cutting-edge innovations that drive our industry and landing a role where I can learn, grow, and contribute to make an impact.
