About Ujjwal Kumar Sinha

A versatile professional acknowledged for policy advocacy, team management, strategy building, stakeholders' engagement, monitoring, and MIS, and project management skills in a community development project, with special focus on social and financial inclusion, and building resilient communities and households through strong community institutions. Experienced in working in a multicultural environment with the government departments, leading organizations, training institutions, and financial institutions in a leadership role in a World Bank-funded community‑driven development (CDD) project to contribute to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). I have hands-on experience in working for multiple thrust areas of development, including livelihoods, enterprise promotion, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), health and nutrition, community finance, financial inclusion, digital and financial literacy, skill development, women empowerment, political awareness, and social inclusion. I also have experience in designing projects and engaging with leading organizations (J-PAL, VisionSpring, Bandhan, APMAS, PRADAN, Digital Green, PCI, etc.) as partners, government, and funding agencies (World Bank, BMGF, Nalanda Trust) to implement it. I have managed large teams in mass-scale projects.
