About Ujjwal Sharma

Ujjwal has been an avid finance enthusiast with a zeal to learn and excel in the corporate sphere. He has interned with several different organizations raging from an MNC like Nestle to startups like Diyaan, Awign, and Tredily that have given him exposure to the corporate world. He has been mentoring students to ace their CAT and other management exams for the past year and wishes to do pro-bono consulting in his free time in the future as well. He is a first-year MBA student at IIM Kashipur who graduated top of his class with BCom(Hons.) from Deshbandhu college which is a part of Delhi University. During his graduation, he was elected as an executive member of the commerce society of Deshbandhu college in 2018 by securing 105 out of 120 votes polled for the post that day. He is also currently pursuing a live project with a startup called Logy.ai where he is working as an analyst intern, working in an AI-ML-based startup being from a commerce background has been an informative lesson. On his live project, he has worked with a diverse set of individuals ranging from top bureaucrats from the Tamil Nadu government to industry leaders from Tech giants like Uniphore, working in Tandem with them towards the development of a new age AI-ML startup ecosystem. Also, he has always been interested in the field of finance. He started pursuing several certifications starting ranging from financial modeling, NCFM Options trading module, NCFM Derivatives dealers module, and NCFM Equity derivatives module to further this interest. These certifications at first gave him an insight into the real-world operations of stock markets of India (Derivatives market to be precise) as well as corporate world valuations of different asset classes.
