Senior Controller with nearly 30 years of experience in finance, controlling, and leadership – from toolmaker to co-founder of BeOne Hamburg. Passionate about creating measurable value where people and technology meet. From hands-on toolmaking to strategic finance. With nearly 30 years of professional experience, I combine deep expertise in finance, controlling, and people management with a strong foundation in engineering. My career spans management consulting, digital transformation, aviation technology, embedded systems and systems as well as tool & mold making. Entrepreneurial impact: A particularly formative chapter in my career was the 19 years I spent at BeOne Hamburg, a company I co-founded, helped build from the ground up, and led as CFO. During this time, I was not only responsible for finance and controlling, but also played a key role in operational leadership. Managing the eventual closure of the business was a challenging yet valuable experience that further shaped my understanding of resilience, accountability, and strategic decision-making. What drives me? The interaction between people and technology. I'm passionate about exploring how expert knowledge and human experience in the workplace can create measurable, tangible value. My academic and practical foundation: I began with an apprenticeship as a toolmaker and later earned a degree in mechanical and industrial engineering. My understanding of finance and controlling was shaped by the work of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Jürgen Weber and Dr. Dr. h.c. Albrecht Deyhle. The practical seminars at the Controller Akademie remain a key influence on my work today.
