Background

About Uliana Herek

I am a Project Manager leading around 4 cross-functional teams across diverse domains including a wedding organization platform, an AI agent, a medical laboratory system, and a large-scale financial system. My expertise covers requirements gathering and documentation, onboarding and adaptation of team members, and close collaboration with key stakeholders. I drive delivery through Agile practices from sprint planning and roadmap creation to facilitating ceremonies (stand-ups, retrospectives, demos, releases). I also bring experience managing both Time & Material and Fixed Price contracts, ensuring projects deliver value on time and within scope. Before stepping into project management, I worked for several years as a QA on large-scale projects, including solutions for clean energy transition, NFT marketplaces, and digital twin–based applications. I also participated in multiple successful quality audits across different domains, developing adaptability, test planning skills, and client-facing experience that now strengthen my PM work.I love exploring how people and systems work together and bringing structure to complexity, maybe that’s why I enjoy managing a wedding platform as much as a financial system :)
