About Ulla Hansen

After gaining my masters degree in Humanities (English, art history, historical studies, and philosophy) I started my career in scientific publishing as an editor, later on taking on the task of managing foreign rights as well. Key aspects of my skills are- managing a multitude of projects simultaneously and on time (journals, monographs, anthologies, critical editions)- blending together my professional expertise as an editor and my experience in production to benefit each project - having a knack for layouts, fomatting, and InDesign-based projects, especially when it comes to art books - representing the publishing house at book fairs, congresses, and conferences and active aquisition of new authors and projects. Scientifically meaningful, high-impact projects I've managed- Schwarte, »Qualitäten der Freiheit. Demokratie für übermorgen«, 2024- Sandkaulen, »The Philosophy of Friedrich Heinrich Jacobi«, 2023- Buchenau, »Menschenwürde. Kant und die Aufklärung«, 2023.
