About Ulla Kauppila

I am a passionate and goal-oriented sales professional with a proven-track record of acquiring new customers in the Nordics and helping them to grow their digital business. I have over 10 years of experience in sales & business development in different roles. I currently work as a Business Development Manager in Solteq, the leading digital agency in the Nordics. I am working as an account executive for some of our strategic customers mostly in retail, wholesale, and manufacturing industry, and help our customers to succeed in their digital commerce. My superpower is that I know a little about everything, and am good at "connecting the dots". I consider myself as a generalist, and I say that with pride! In the future, I would love to get even more international flavour to my work, as I have always loved working with different kinds of people from various cultures. I am a true team player and I would love to lead a group of professionals, whether it's sales professionals, developers, or something else and to help them achieve their goals and have fun while doing it. I also strongly believe in leading by example. What motivates me the most, is having a clear goal (WHY we are doing that we are doing, WHAT are we aiming for) and enough tools and responsibility to achieve the set goals, talented people around me who I can learn from, open and encouraging work environment where new development ideas and opinions are welcomed and having a feeling that I am an important part of the company, and my effort is valued. I don't just go to work; I want to succeed in what I do and to be able to help my customers and colleagues in the best possible way and to show them that I care.
