Dr. Ulrich ECK (male) has a Ph.D. in Computer Science (University of South Australia, 2016). Since 2016 he leads the Medical Augmented Reality research group NARVIS and since 2021 he acts as Vice Director of the Chair for Computer Aided Medical Procedures at Technical University of Munich. His activities are focused mainly in the field of Mixed and Augmented Reality to improve human computer interaction for medical education, training, and intervention. Dr. Eck received ten awards (ISMAR, VR, MICCAI, VCBM, IJCARS), has authored two book chapters and published 24 articles in national and international scientific journals (TVCG, IJCARS, Unfallchirurg) and 38 conference papers. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Eck served as CEO for three companies in the areas of Information Technologies, Property Management, and Retail.
