About Umar Aslam

As an Assistant Manager Operations at LOLC Microfinance Bank Limited, I oversee the centralized operations including loan processing, TDR, CASA, and regulatory reporting units. With a M.Sc. and a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture from Bahauddin Zakariya University and University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, respectively, I have a strong academic background and a keen interest in microfinance and rural development. I have successfully handled multiple projects and tasks, such as streamlining the loan approval and disbursement process, ensuring compliance with the regulatory and internal policies, managing the TDR and CASA portfolios, and preparing and submitting accurate and timely reports. I have also collaborated with various stakeholders, such as branch managers, credit officers, regional managers, and external auditors, to facilitate smooth and efficient operations and resolve any issues or queries. I am passionate about improving the access and quality of financial services for the underserved and marginalized communities, and contributing to the social and economic empowerment of the rural population. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to enhance my knowledge and expertise in the microfinance sector.
