I have worked in the financial and regulatory services industry for over 13 years and currently hold the position of Senior Manager of Global Regulatory, Risk, and Technology Operations at Western Union, which is the world's leading company for cross-border, cross-currency money movement and payments. My responsibilities include overseeing and ensuring regulatory compliance for digital and retail technology platforms in the US and international markets. Additionally, I manage the expansion and optimization of Western Union's products and services through implementation of regulatory controls. As a leader, I am adept at managing domestic and international cross-functional teams and supporting the development and implementation of regulatory strategy and fintech product management as part of the global operations. I leverage my SME experience on the FTC Fraud Protection Rule, Regulation E, AML/ BSA, SEC, to deliver regulatory recommendations to product partners and identify product gaps to initiate remediation plans to ensure compliance with the various regulatory requirements.I have a Masters in Law degree from Cornell Law School and a Masters of Management degree from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business. My expertise lies in US and Global business management and corporate law, regulatory compliance. banking act, cybersecurity, privacy, and securities law.
