Upasana has a combined experience of 10+ years in developing and implementing Human Resources strategies and Financial Management. She has experience in partnering with senior management in strategy development and designing innovative Change Management initiatives to streamline processes and capitalise on organisational growth opportunities. She has hands-on experience in managing changes of transitioning organisation both from a global as well as country (local) perspective. Upasana is a problem solver and a decision maker who effectively works autonomously and is highly reliable business partner. She has strong communication and interpersonal skills marked by her high level of emotional intelligence, which enables her to adapt to her varied audience and situations. With the complementing combination of Finance and Human Resources Management expertise she is able to deliver as an effective business partner to the senior management team, country directors, as well as the managing board, giving sound and out of the box business advice. She started in SNV Nepal as a Human Resources trainee in 2011 and now holds a Global position at SNV head office in The Netherlands demonstrating a very progressive career within SNV in a very short period. She thrives on new challenges and believes in continuous learning and development of her skills and knowledge, due to this she has managed to gain experience in various aspects of corporate function within SNV. She provides coherent and relevant advice by keeping herself abreast with external business trends and sector developments, not only limited to human resources but also evolving business models. Upasana began her career in the financial service sector as a trainee chartered accountant and then moved into organisational development where she gained experience on Human Resources Management, Operations Management, Change Management and now Compensation & Benefits.
