Background
About Upsu Kickboxing
This group is the official Portsmouth University Kickboxing and MMA Team. We train three times a week at Gym 01, one of the best Martial Arts gyms in the country and the very best this side of London. Gym 01is located on Rodney Road in Fratton, and is a short walk from the University Bus route. In affiliation with Gym 01 we have several British National Qualified Coaches and ex British Champions eager to teach students regardless of previous experience. Every year we offer the chances to participate in local interclubs, and against other University's. There will be option to participate for gradings, and is also suitable if you just want to train for fitness, and keep fit! Finally for those that are less keen in competitions, Kickboxing & MMA is fantastic form of exercise and a great way to meet new people to maximize your time at university with regular socials. 2016/17 Commitee - President - Miranda Roberts Vice President - Aaron Cronk Club Captain - Caspian Kingdon Treasurer - Ellie Cannings Social Secs - Iain Mackie & Hannah Prentice RAG Sec - Jordan Harlow Media Sec - Alex Luke
