Background
About Uriel Feldman
A Menahel's job description runs 24/7/365 and I've cherished each minute for almost a decade. Growing Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael (YOY) from its initial class of five students into a thriving state-of-the-art Yeshiva has been my passion. With a dedicated staff and robust, well-rounded curriculum, YOY is the top choice for many families in the Greater Boston Area seeking a premiere Torah education for their high-school-aged sons. When not at the Yeshiva, you can find me spending time with family, learning with my children, or studying with a chavrusa at the Kollel. Goal in education: Give students the skills and enthusiasm to continue learning throughout their lives. With the right mix of care, relationship, and knowledge, every talmid can find success. Best way to connect with students: Open-ended questions Favorite quote: לא הביישן למד. ולא הקפדן מלמד The bashful person cannot learn, and the impatient person cannot teach (Avos 2:6) Role model in education Rav Shmuel Kamenetzky, my Rosh Yeshiva
