About Urko Puga

With the experience of living in 8 cities and 3 countries, last 15 years I’ve worked in business development for online Travel/Ticketing and Marketing companies with presence in 7 European countries like Parques Reunidos, Expedia, Adglow and Western Union. Prior experience on international Hotel operations for 6 years. In the last 5 years, I’ve been responsible for online sales through 3rd parties (B2B agencies & marketplaces) in Europe reaching a yearly turnover of Besides, I’ve directly owned the Online Travel Agency P&L with 7 points of sale accross Europe and €23.500k turnover in 2018, managing a team of up to 45 people. From 2016, I’ve also managed 2 Technology and E-commerce projects in Spain, France, Belgium and Norway as well as a third parties API integration Project including negotiation and contracting processes for all European business units, as well as SOP’s set up and definition in the Ticketing and Accommodation areas. I’ve got an Executive MBA by Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI Madrid), 3 postgraduate courses by Insead France, Cornell and K-School Madrid. I’ve received in-company trainings on Leadership, Time management, Effective feedback and I’ve delivered trainings to my teams on Sales and Negotiation among others.
