About Urvi Patel

I completed my Bachelors with first class results. During my clinical placements in the third and fourth years of my undergraduate education, I learned about clinical prospective. During my internship, I was eager to help patients and learn new medical theories. I was assigned to a NABH-accredited facility. I also worked in a Primary Health Care centre that was approved by the government. During my assignments, I watched my senior and faculty members work with compassion and knowledge on patients, and it inspired me to follow in their footsteps. During the pandemic, I also lent a helping hand to the nation. During my internship, I worked at Covid-19 Hospital. I worked hard in both the ICU and the Covid wards. I've learnt that patients require not only physical health but also mental and moral assistance. I used to give lectures to stimulate covid patients and try to make them mentally happy. In October 2021, I completed my internship. During my bachelor’s and internship, I developed a keen interest in managing healthcare departments. After that I applied for health care management studies in St Lawrence alpha college, Toronto, Canada. Currently i am working as a part time employee in the AGTA home health care agency as a PSW position.
