About Usman Mullan

I have been working in the TV industry for over a decade on a variety of BBC's flagship brands, campaigns, projects and development programmes. I'm experienced in developing and producing groundbreaking content across TV, radio, digital and social platforms and working on scripted drama and comedy drama development. I have managed integrated projects and campaigns and have worked on Award Winning cross platform content across multiple genres, forms and mediums, from factual to drama, and for a broad range of audiences. I have worked with both internal and external commissioning, production and creative teams to create, plan and deliver projects, schemes and events for various partners such as BBC Three, BBC Education, CBBC, BBC Drama, BBC Asian Network, Radio 1, 3 and 4, and UK wide independent production companies. I have worked with high profile talent and managed complex projects with multiple partners and stakeholders. I was one of thirty industry professionals selected for The Guardian’s coveted Edinburgh International TV Festival’s ‘One’s To Watch' in 2013, and an interactive series i produced for CBBC won a Broadcast Digital Award.
