About Usra Hasan

My Bachelor's degree in Zoology Honors, helped in developing interest in physiology. Fuelled by this passion, I pursued a Masters in Medical Physiology, further honing my understanding of the subject. As an Assistant Professor at the School of Allied Health Sciences, I had the privilege of imparting theoretical and practical knowledge of physiology to students from diverse national and international backgrounds, enrolled in paramedical and allied health programs. Driven by a desire to contribute to the advancement of knowledge, my journey took me to the Sports Authority of India, where I served as an Exercise Physiologist. In this role, I had the opportunity to work closely with a myriad of elite athletes, including Olympians, as well as national athletes from various sports disciplines. My focus on physiological profiling and performance enhancement played a vital role in optimizing their athletic capabilities and achieving exceptional results. Amidst my professional pursuits, my interest in research has remained a guiding force. I aim to delve deeper into the intricacies of physiology, exploring new avenues to improve human health and athletic performance. With a relentless commitment to staying at the forefront of allied health and sports science, I strive to make meaningful contributions to these fields and inspire future generations to embark on a similar journey of discovery.
