Her journey towards co-founding Aruna stems from her personal connection to the coastal village life in Balikpapan, Kalimantan Timur, where she was born and raised. Growing up, Utari witnessed the challenges faced by fishermen in her community, which inspired her to create positive change. Driven by her desire to make a difference, Utari embarked on a remarkable educational journey. She excelled academically and was recognized as the Best Graduated Student at Telkom University, where she obtained her degree in ICT Business Management. Eager to expand her knowledge and gain international exposure, Utari pursued a short study at Flinders University in Adelaide, South Australia, as a recipient of the prestigious Australia Award. Utari's commitment to empowering women and driving social progress led her to become a notable speaker at the Global Women Conference 2019 in Hangzhou, China. Her insightful contributions, alongside prominent figures like Melinda Gates and Jack Ma, underscore her influential role in advocating for gender equality and women's empowerment. To further enhance her leadership skills and strategic acumen, Utari pursued Executive Leadership Education at Said Business School, Oxford University.
