I am a dedicated physicist with a strong academic and research background in astrophysics and cosmology. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Physics with a specialization in Astrophysics at Ruprecht Karl University of Heidelberg Germany I hold a Bachelor of Science in Physics (Honors) from Maulana Azad College University of Calcutta with a CGPA of 7.89. Further I qualified for the IIT-JAM 2023 with an All India Rank of 1498 and successfully passed the CUET-PG 2023 securing 223 marks. Additionally I have an impressive IELTS score of 8.0 indicating a high level of proficiency in English and have performed well in the TestAS with significant scores in the Core and Mathematics Computer Science and Natural Sciences sections. In the realm of research and work experience I have been involved in various significant projects. At the Astronomisches Rechen-Institut University of Heidelberg I am currently working on the spectroscopic analysis of Damped Lyman-α Absorbers to understand their nature by analyzing absorption lines and calculating properties like abundances and column densities. Previously at RKMVERI I utilized a hybrid Variational-Convolutional Autoencoder in combination with a K-Medoids Clustering Algorithm for unsupervised morphological classification of galaxies showcasing my proficiency in AI and machine learning techniques applied to astrophysics. My research extends to evolutionary dynamics where I explored a torus universe model investigating how its non-trivial topology can contribute to the understanding of dark energy and symmetry breaking in the universe. My work on this topic earned me recognition for "Outstanding Innovative Model" at the 5th Regional Science and Technology Congress. I have also participated in several prestigious academic programs and workshops including the Summer School on Cosmology at Jagiellonian University Krakow and the Sokendai Asian Winter School where I deepened my knowledge in areas like N-body simulations gravitational waves and solar physics. My skill set is well-rounded encompassing AI machine learning Python programming and the use of advanced astronomical tools like the Virtual Observatory and IRAF. I have also presented my research at various academic seminars and conferences further demonstrating my commitment to advancing the field of astrophysics.
