About Utkarsh Rawat

My career experience and skills have grown from my hobbies such as communicating and developing marketing strategies. I love to come up with marketing campaigns and put together strategies to increase audience reach in hopes that I could pitch my father one day to apply these techniques in his business. That didn’t exactly pan out, but I’ve been able to convert those passions into reality through various roles in my career. I began my career with my education in Chemical Engineering to become my father’s ally in future, having much spare time in the beginning of my college I started exploring various possibilities to work upon. After various trails, I launched an E-commerce marketplace and grew sales by an average of 75% throughout the year and as the company grew it changed me as a whole. I honed my ability to align teams to work towards common goals.I understand communication is critical to obtaining alignment. That's why I flex to fit other’s communication styles as a means to be more effective in fast-paced environments with cross functional teams. I believe there is always something to learn, and with digital media’s rapid pace, there’s always something new! So, I learned a lot of things throughout my journey whether its Online marketing, customer service, Web development, Designing or finance and all the technologies associated with them and not only on a personal level but on a professional level with companies like Zomato, Decodr Technologies, Uchem India, Umbeo Technologies, Hnn24x7 News Channel and PCM Travels. But I found creating websites and A/B testing more fun and I love the insights testing provides.(It’s key to optimizing campaigns and maximizing ROI!) With plethora of datasets that exists in today’s business world, my perpetual curiosity drives the analytical side of my brain to figure out why tactics are performing above or below expectations. There’s rarely dull moment in my workday and I like it this way. A few key achievements 1. Hired and Managed a team of 12 Interns in my third year of education which allowed us to save/reallocate 20% of our marketing budget + develop internal talent. Optimized Multiple digital channels (Social, Email, Website, Affiliate, PPC) to consistently achieve a blended return on investment. My high energy and passion for creative marketing comes with me in my day to day life.
