Leveraging over the two decades of extensive experience in mechanical engineering within the construction and tunneling industries. Currently serving as the Senior Assistant General Manager at ITD Cementation India Limited, I have successfully directed operations for significant metro projects, including the Bangalore Metro Rail Project, utilising advanced tunneling techniques and state-of-the-art machinery. My expertise encompasses a wide range of technical skills, including Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) operation and maintenance, project management, and cost optimisation. I have consistently demonstrated my ability to enhance operational performance, achieve project milestones ahead of schedule, and maintain strict adherence to safety protocols. My leadership has fostered a collaborative team environment, resulting in high retention rates and improved project outcomes My main focus on selection of Tunnel Boring Machine, installation and commissioning and its repair & maintenance and its refurbishment. Selection of Tunnel Logistics like Locomotives, Gantry crane and rolling stocks and its related equipment’s, installation & commissioning, repair, and maintenance. I am involved in evaluating tender documents, preparing Plant and Machinery scheme for TBM Tunneling. I am also involved in ensuring seamless operations and minimizing breakdown maintenance by scheduling and conducting preventive maintenance. I have developed proficiency in planning, designing, and managing all aspects of the tunnel-building project; plan the tunneling phases, calculate project specifications, and monitor on-site progress. I also have expertise in updating the project inventory in coordination with the suppliers, internal and external stakeholders to maintain seamless operations. I am particularly proud of my achievements in implementing innovative solutions that have led to substantial cost savings and efficiency gains across various projects.
