As a highly motivated and self-directed mechanical engineer, I bring experience working in the fast-paced manufacturing industry as well as inventory management. With experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, just-in-time manufacturing, supply and demand analysis, WCM, HACCP, Reliability and CMMS I have a strong technical foundation. Proficient in software such as MS Office, Minitab 19, Project Plan 365, AutoCAD, Power BI and Various CMMS software. I am adept at leveraging technology for efficient operations. I hold a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lakehead University, where I focused on engineering design synthesis, operations, process improvement methodology and project management. My bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University included coursework in industrial engineering and product design & development as well as Manufacturing processes. In my current role as an Operations Assistant, I have successfully led utilities and maintenance projects, implemented 5S concepts, and digitized F-tag processes. I have also contributed to the creation of a result-oriented system and worked on process improvement initiatives. Previously, in a Production role at Unilever Canada, I fostered a positive team environment, ensured compliance with standards, and implemented continuous improvement projects. During my tenure as an Inventory Team Lead at Walmart, I excelled in material flow optimization, quality improvement, and accurate order processing. As a Junior Production Engineer at Techno Gear Ltd, I developed lean processes and collaborated with senior engineers to enhance equipment layouts. As a Process Improvement Specialist at Ankur Steel Fabrication, I created SOPs, led quality improvement initiatives, and utilized statistical analysis to enhance material quality.
