About Uzi Loewenbach

Hi everyone. My name is Uzi Loewenbach. I'm 58, married to Racheli and father to Yotam (30), Omri (26) and Shira (20). I live in kibbutz Alonim. I am an educational consultant and parents guide. I give special attention to fathers and fatherhood and for parents to adolescents. Looking at the parenting mission these days, I find it most complexed and challenging, due to broad sociological end technological rapid changes. Along 20 years of working in educational counseling, I met a lot of fathers who wish to be more involved, active and present, in their children education and emotional lives, but found out, that they are trapped in a collective multi-generational, traditional model of fatherhood, which reduce their role into "provider" and "defender" and encourage them not to express emotion. There for I decided to dedicate my knowledge, experience, and skills to help fathers and mothers to resume parenting powers, abilities, resilience, self-regulation and self-compassion in order to adopt effective ways to lead their family. My mission to enhance parenting and to support fathers and teenage boys with their social and emotional needs, is being expressed not only by a counseling meeting at the clinic but also by lectures and workshops and men circles in the community. Glad to be in your service. Uzi
