Human being, world citizen, community leader, geek not just in technology, aspiring complex athlete, language lover speaking 7+ languages - looking forward to learn more from people around me every day! In my global leadership role I am humbled to lead a group focused on making Kubernetes usable for Application Developers and for AI/ML use cases. Our group consists of several teams of extraordinary engineers spread from America, through Europe to Japan we lead with our awesome cross-functional leadership team composed from architect, leads and managers. Our group is used to work in vendor heavy Kubernetes (K8s)/ CNCF OSS ecosystem - we’re founding or building CNCF projects such as Knative, KEDA, CloudEvents, BuildPacks and we’re also developing OSS AI/ML model serving solutions on top of K8s like Kserve, modelmesh, vllm & llm-d for example. Served 2.5 years term as a Site Leader - one of five Red Hat Czech Leadership members (1500+ ppl site) in addition to my functional role between 2020 and 2023. Czech Leadership is a Site Leadership team working for the CZ site with rotating membership - we are sponsored by the SVPs of Red Hat Products & Global Engineering. I consider myself a leader with executive mentality & reliable track record who is thriving in talking to the decision makers directly. I love working with authentic people and I love to empower and enable my organization to grow and assume greater responsibilities. Historically, I have presented on all levels including Board of Directors, C-levels, Architects, Research Executives and Business Leaders. Helped to shape Red Hat’s product strategy, product definition, go to market, along with business unit, architect, office of the CTO and key stakeholders in our awesome leadership team (read details in position text). Talking frequently with key folks from Microsoft, Google, VMware, IBM. Plus other partners & community members in Knative, KEDA, Kserve and in the CNCF ecosystem. I like working directly with teams from our strategic customers and I am very close with our field organization. Overall, I believe product R&D should be very closely involved in business decisions.
