In short, my core competencies are in the areas of mechatronics (with a specialization in mobile robots), AR+VR for the operation of the machine environment, strength theory for combined lightweight constructions (e.g. polycarbonates + aluminum), and Additive manufacturing. Additive manufacturing (3D printing) has an increasing number of usages both in industrial production and outside of it. Although it is less suitable for mass production than conventional technologies, 3D printing is often essential for rapid prototyping and the production of small batches. Possibilities of wide product-customisation, the ease of changing product shapes and sizes and the support for a large number of materials make 3D printing more attractive and useful, especially for small and medium-sized businesses.
