I'm a 3D Lighting Artist based in Vancouver, and I’ve been lucky enough to spend over three years working in cinematic lighting, composition, and visual storytelling. My focus is on creating visuals that pull you in, enhancing the story with every frame. I love using lighting, look development, and compositing to bring scenes to life, making sure they evoke the right emotions through a careful balance of mood, tone, and atmosphere. I work with some great industry-standard tools like Maya, Blender, Katana, Nuke, and Unreal Engine, which help me craft environments that are both artistic and technically sound. Whether I’m softening the light or developing cinematic sequences that steer the viewer's feelings, I enjoy projects that give me the chance to control the look and feel of the scene. For me, lighting is more than just a technical aspect; it’s a powerful storytelling tool. I carefully consider color, contrast, and shadow to enhance the mood and connect audiences to the narrative. I’m on the lookout for exciting collaborations on productions that have rich stories and push creative boundaries. I’m passionate about growing my skills, keeping up with the latest lighting trends, and exploring the emotional landscape of films and games. I thrive in creative spaces where storytelling and visual artistry come together, and I love taking on new challenges that help me develop as an artist and a team player. Outside the world of 3D, I find joy in photography. It’s a fantastic way for me to study real-world lighting, capture emotional moments, and sharpen my eye for visual composition. I also enjoy playing video games in my spare time, drawing inspiration from their lighting, world-building, and art direction. These hobbies enrich my creative journey, allowing me to bring new energy and perspective to every project I dive into!
