About Vaishali Rajendren

I'm a backend engineer with a strong focus on building scalable, fault-tolerant systems in the cloud. I currently work as a Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, contributing to the Object Storage team within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). My work centers around designing and improving large-scale distributed storage systems that serve enterprise-grade performance, durability, and availability requirements. I enjoy solving complex backend challenges, writing clean and maintainable code, and optimizing systems for reliability and scale. Previously at MileZero, I led core service development for a logistics platform, including building a multi-format file ingestion pipeline, migrating configurations to globally accessible infrastructure, and implementing cost-saving automation for cloud resources. Core strengths: Distributed systems & cloud-native architecture Backend service design (Java, Spring Boot) Observability, automation, and cost optimization REST APIs, DynamoDB, SQS, EC2, AWS Lambda Currently: Building resilient cloud storage systems at Oracle OCI Expanding my skills in large-scale infrastructure and system design Training for a half marathon and learning French in my spare time Let’s connect if you're passionate about backend infrastructure, storage systems, or just enjoy conversations about systems thinking and continuous learning.
