Responsible for growing the business, developing new non-traditional products with technology and entire Legal operations of all the trusteeship products across the sectors. Credentia Trustee provides Trusteeship services for Alternative Investment Funds, Escrow Agent, ESOP/Employee Welfare Trusts, Family Office Trustee, Security Trustee, Third-party agent, Trustees for private trusts and public charitable trusts, Document/Share escrow Trustee, etc.Last associated with Beacon Trusteeship Ltd. as Whole Time Director & Chief Operating Officer and was responsible for overall business growth and trusteeship operations. Was also associated with Milestone Trusteeship Services Pvt Ltd as SVP - Business Development & Legal and was a key management team member in setting up the entire trusteeship business and growing it from scratch to a remarkable level in a span of four years. Role included business development and overall supervision of Legal operations. Past experience include positions like:Head- Operations at Vistra ITCL (India) Limited (formerly IL & FS Trust Company Limited) managing trusteeship services across various products viz. Debenture Trustee, Security Trustee, ESOP/EWT, AIF/VCF, Securitisation, Family Office and Escrows etc. Represented the company at sub-committees of SEBI for ESOP and Municipal Bonds.Manager (Legal) at UCO Bank - Regional Office Mumbai and Export-Import Bank of India.Vast experience in legal (Drafting/vetting documents, advising on structured finances/debt syndication, security structures, securitisation, escrow mechanism and contributory/investment Trusts) and statutory/regulatory compliance, Default management and enforcement action including recovery of debts under SARFAESI and DRT Act, handling litigation matters at High Court, Consumer Protection, Ombudsman etc.Operations : Overall supervision of all trusteeship products viz. loans, debt instruments, escrows, VCF/AIF and Other SPV transactions /vetting transaction documents including statutory and contractual compliance.
