Professional writer since I took up a pencil (many years ago). Author, journalist, ad copywriter, teacher, editor, business writing consultant. AUTHOR of (at least) 25 published books on language, writing and history; author of six published novels; author of produced play. My latest book is Pandora's Hunnert Januarys, about a woman who lived the entire 20th century watching women fly out of their boxes — and writing about it. I love Pandora Whaley and the way she lived her "hunnert years" as she wanted. Earlier, I wrote the "Grammar In Your Pocket" series on Kindle: 24 brief booklets, each covering one aspect of grammar and punctuation.
