About Val Robichaux

Hello! I'm Val Robichaux, a passionate Computer Engineering graduate from Texas A&M University, now based in Dallas, Texas. Currently, I'm thrilled to be part of the innovative team at Citi as a software developer, specializing in microservices and back-end development. My journey into the tech world began with a love for tinkering with hardware, particularly in building and troubleshooting personal computers. Through self-learning and active participation in online communities, I honed my skills in computer hardware and software, fostering a deep understanding of systems and problem-solving. My fascination with game development led me to explore Unity 3D and various game development tools. While my roots lie in C++ and Java, I'm eager to broaden my skill set by delving into different languages and frameworks, especially in the realm of microservices and back-end technologies. Outside of work, I believe in holistic personal growth. You'll often find me hitting the gym, immersing myself in a good book, or indulging my passion for video games. Balancing work with these interests keeps me energized and inspired, ensuring I bring my best self to every project I undertake. I'm excited to continue pushing boundaries, both personally and professionally, and I'm always open to connecting with fellow tech enthusiasts and industry professionals.
